Dr. Kacey Carr moved to Colorado from Nashville, Tennessee in 2017.
He and his wife and two daughters have since planted roots deep in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado where they live off-the-grid with their three rescued canine companions and two rescued feline friends.
Dr. Kacey graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 where he received the prestigious Merck Veterinary Leadership Award in addition to the Clinical Student of the Year Award during his senior year. Since that time Dr. Kacey has served as lead veterinarian and has undergone advanced surgical training in orthopedics, soft tissue, ophthalmology, and dentistry. For three years Dr. Kacey worked simultaneously as a veterinary technical surgical instructor at Pima Medical Institute in Colorado Springs.
Dr. Kacey later went on to train under Dr. William Puryear, the founder of Faithful Friends Animal Hospital (FFAH), before life called he and his family to move off-grid and start three different veterinary businesses with his brother, Dr. Kody Carr.
One of these endeavors led Dr. Kacey to begin working as a traveling veterinarian and hospital consultant all across the state of Colorado. It was during this time he realized that FFAH is one of the leading general practice veterinary hospitals in Colorado. Dr. Kacey has since rejoined the incredible team at FFAH in serving their patients and clients.
Dr. Carr will be working with us this summer during Dr. Daigle's maternity leave.
